Saskatchewan Basic Security Guard Course 

Course Description

The Private Investigators and Security Guards Act, 1997 requires individuals to hold a valid security guard or private investigators licence while employed by a licensed security business in Saskatchewan. 

Sask. Guard Training (Course Provider #156) is accredited by the Saskatchewan PISG, this 40-hour course is the mandatory training requirement for all licensed security guards in Saskatchewan. The goal of the program is to increase the knowledge base of the individual thereby increasing the level of safety enjoyed by both the guard and the public encountering private security. It provides knowledge that will assist the guwith his/her duties and to stay within the guidelines of the law. This course is designed to provide the student with everything he/she needs to know to pass the provincial exam and earn a private security certificate.

 

Final Govt. test is administered by eProctor Canada upon course completion. Fee $30
