Course Description
The 3RT Edged and Impact Weapon Defence System is designed to meet the needs of law enforcement professionals, as well as for personal defense when confronted by an edged or impact weapon assault and your unable to disengage or retrieve your own weapon. It is based upon a proven reality based effective and efficient; Clear-Control-Counter philosophy that employs gross motor skills that are compatible with the affects of survival stress. It covers concepts of real weapon attacks; and reviews defence strategies for both threatening assaults and spontaneous assaults inside the reactionary gap.

3RT Ground Avoidance & Ground Defence
Course Description
This 3RT course is designed to provide the essential knowledge and physical skills on how to avoid being taken to the ground during an altercation; as well as how to effectively escape, disengage or gain compliance of the subject if you are found in this position of disadvantage. Strategies and Tactics for both open and confined environments are examined to provide the understanding that anyone may succumb to an attack due to environmental conditions. Attendees will study the 6 most common ground positions and their potential dangers, and are taught how to escape and when necessary control from these 6 positions.

3RT Defensive Flashlight System
Course Description
This course is training in the tactical application of a flashlight to a low light/no light condition. Since most dangerous incidents for both law enforcement professionals and personal defence occur in these common environments, this course could make the difference to your success of identifying a threat and surviving a violent attack. In addition to training in situational awareness, students will be trained to use their flashlight effectively by using different patterns of light bursts to distract, defend or disengage. Secondly, students will learn how to use their flashlight as an improvised impact weapon with defensive tactics, if forced into a close contact situation.
